DAVOS NORDIC PARK

What is the Davos Nordic Park?
The Davos Nordic Park is a diverse cross-country skiing course with 12 playful stations. Ideal for practicing technique, balance, and skill on cross-country skis. Whether you're big or small, beginner or expert, the park at the Davos Cross-Country Ski Center offers exercise, fun, and variety in the snow. It's open throughout the winter season.

The Snow Grouse

Hi, I'm Bianca! My great passion? Cross-country skiing! And I'm a little crazy too, but that's what makes it fun.

At Davos Nordic Park, I'll show you how varied and fun technique training on cross-country skis can be. You can test your skills, try out new things, and above all, have lots of fun in the snow!

Because snow is more than just cold and white, it's a playground for going crazy!

By the way: I was drawn by the talented cartoonist Thomas Zipfel.

Davos Cross-Country Skiing Center

Davos Nordic Park is located in the heart of Davos' cross-country skiing network, directly in front of the Davos Cross-Country Skiing Center. It is easily accessible and nestled in the world of Nordic sports.

The following public areas are available on the ground floor of the cross-country skiing center:

  • a restaurant

  • a cozy lounge

  • cloakrooms and toilets

  • as well as a waxing room for your skis

The upper floor houses Swiss-Ski, the cross-country skiing school, and the local ski club. This is where training takes place, plans are made, and the future of cross-country skiing is worked on.

Parking spaces are available in the parking garage of a neighboring private development. They are available to visitors of the cross-country skiing center for a fee.

The history of Davos Nordic Park

The idea for Davos Nordic Park was born during the 2016 World Cup: during the World Cup, the organizing committee successfully auctioned off numerous caricatures of successful cross-country skiers, drawn by the well-known cartoonist Thomas Zipfel.

The proceeds from this auction were put to good use. For a project close to our hearts: the playful promotion and support of young cross-country skiers. This is how Davos Nordic Park came into being, a place full of movement, joy, and enthusiasm for Nordic sports.
