What began in 1998 as a small ski cross event is now an integral part of the DAVOS NORDIC program: the Kids Event at the Bünda Stadium, long supported by cross-country skiing legend Björn Daehlie, has been co-sponsored for several years by four-time Olympic champion Dario Cologna – together with our loyal partner Chris Sports.
The focus is on having fun on skis: on a varied fun course, children experience cross-country skiing in a playful way, without any pressure to perform – but with lots of enthusiasm. Around 350 children take part in the event every year.
Participation
The event is aimed at children aged 4 and above who can cross-country ski independently in the stadium without supervision.
Note for parents and accompanying persons
Parents and accompanying persons are welcome to watch the event from the stadium area. For safety and supervision reasons, access to the track is reserved for children and our volunteers only. Thank you for your understanding.
